Centenary Park popular hangout Barbeque Lounge closes shop

Centenary Park popular hangout Berbeque Lounge is no more, we can confirm. Barbeque, as its been commonly known, closed shop a few weeks back after spending months with dwindling customer numbers.

Barbeque was owned by long time Museveni lawyer Elly Karuhanga and an Irish national.

The facility was famous as an elite outdoor eatery destination as well as a venue for parties and wedding meetings.

Barbeque Lounge had been in existence for almost a decade.

However, the facility has been closed for the past few weeks, a few people we talked to at Centenary Park told us that chances that it would re-open soon are little considering that the owners had fallen out shortly before it closed shop.

One of the people we talked to alluded to the possibility of the facility having been in the landlord’s bad books!
