While appearing on NBS Morning Breeze show, Democratic Party’s Hon. Hussein Kyanjo has pinned President Museveni for the unfolding chaotic scenes in the country. According to Kyanjo, in all issues of the country be it in the judiciary, parliament, army among others, the president wants to play three different roles as a supporter, a player and a referee at the same time.

“All these things are happening because of the unfortunate position of the president who doesn’t want to define his role. When he goes to Arua to campaign he has all the rights but the head of state has leverage over everyone else”, he stated.

“People are crying out for dialogue but the supreme leader doesn’t want to listen, and the day he’ll want to listen it’ll be too late. We need a dialogue on how to move forward because the country is stuck.”

Kyanjo condemned the alleged incident of pelting president’s motorcade with stones but said he put himself in such a condition.

“ It’s not in order to pelt the president with stones but it’s not in order for the president to go mingle with the people, so he has no excuse. Big crowds behave like that; we’ve seen that even in football,” Kyanjo explained.
