FDC’s Wafula Oguttu has dismissed allegations that Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine is a threat to the opposition. He was responding to claims that certain members of the opposition were scared of the youthful legislator’s influence in national politics.

He stated that Bobi Wine is a threat to NRM. He explained that NRM is driving the propaganda as one of their ‘survival schemes’.

“I have of recent heard and read in the media that Hon. Bobi Wine is a ‘threat to both NRM and the Opposition’.Yes, I think he is to NRM.But how can he be a threat to the Opposition? Why are they trying to isolate him and make him hang in air? Is he not part of the Opposition ? We are at war against the dictatorship. Not for Presidency. How then can one of the new commanders of the anti -dictatorship forces be a threat to his forces? This is just NRM propaganda and their divisive survival schemes”, he stated.

Recently while briefing the media, Kizza Besigye called for unity explaining that a new face of opposition is welcome.
