Stella Nyanzi leads protest at Gulu High Court as bail hearing is underway

Dr. Stella Nyanzi is leading a team of fourteen protestors outside High Court, Gulu as the bail hearing of over 34 people accused of treason is underway. Among the accused are; Hon. Kyagulanyi Robert, Hon. Gerald Karuhanga. Hon. Zaake Francis. Arua MP-elect Kassiano Wadri, former MP Mike Mabikke among others.

“A team of fourteen peaceful protesters have arrived at Gulu to stand in solidarity with the Arua-34 detainees charged with treason, including Members of Parliament. Their bail application is today at the High Court that is sitting today in Gulu town. Bail is a constitutional right”, Stella Nyanzi posted on Facebook.
