The five songs Ugandans want to see Tarrus Riley perform at Swangz anniversary concert

It is hard to go a night of partying in Uganda without listening to a minimum of three Tarrus Riley jams. Each and every time a Tarrus Riley joint comes on, the crow runs wild.

On Friday, August 31, the Kampala party revellers can look forward to a night of crazy non-stop hit music as Jamaican sensation who is already in town rocks the Swangz Avenue 10th anniversary concert.

These are the jams to look out for:

Good girl gone bad

This collabo introduced many Ugandans to Tarrus Riley and on this one he featured Do Sumn’ sensation, Konshens. This will be a blast from the past and it is one song many Tarrus fans are looking forward to seeing live.

  1. Don’t come back

This is one of Tarrus’ sickest sing-along tunes. If you are ready to tell off your ex in style, this is ultimately the joint you should watch out for come Friday.

  1. Just the way you are

This is a mellow song that is on almost every reggae lover’s lips and heart. It is socially conscious and encourages people to love themselves for they are beautiful just the way they are.

  1. Sorry is a sorry word

This is one of my personal favourites and certainly one of every Dj’s favourites. Many Kampala revellers that are not ready to take sorry for an excuse from their exes will be pumped up to hear it from the reggae legend in the flesh.

  1. Gimme Likkle one drop

When a DJ is having a hard time firing the crowd up, this is usually the song that performs the magic. I personally predict that it will be the song that will close the show’s curtains. It is the very song that got the summer fest in Germany on fire and I am sure it won’t be any different right here in Kampala.
