Jamaican reggae star has described his short stay in Uganda as a “beautiful experience”. The singer revealed on Instagram that they speculated whether to come to the country or cancel the show.

Tarrus Riley revealed that the globally publicized political tension in Uganda affected their perception of safety in the country.

“…we have seen on the news over and over for weeks about political issues in Uganda and we should not go there but I can tell you don’t listen to to rumours but your heart which I’m glad we did”, he stated.

Tarrus also dropped a visual of the ‘Pearl of Africa’, a song about Uganda’s beauty.

He announced that the song will be released soon.
