The fun-filled Tusker Lite Neon Rave party held its Tooro sub-region leg in the boisterous town of Fort Portal last Saturday, and how crooner King Saha stole the show with an epic performance that left Omukama Oyo’s subjects yearning for more.

The Tusker Lite Neon Rave Party is a monthly fun-dispensing gig that moves around major towns in the country, and last Saturday it was the turn of the beautiful western town of Fort Portal to have the party caravan in its lair. The party made its presence felt with a big, neon-themed fun and music fest that attracted party folk from all walks of life.

King Saha, who was the headlining act, serenaded Fort Portal’s party folk with some of his most popular hits, performing songs like “science”, “Biribiri”, but the highlights of his performance must surely have been “Mpa Love”, “Hullo Hullo”, and “On My Way” –these got the revelers onto another realm of hype altogether, kindling them into a high that saw them party further through the night.

“Tusker Lite is about ‘lite-ing the way’ to fun, new experiences, and we know such experiences are best enjoyed with friends. It’s been another amazing Neon Rave party and I want to say ‘Thank you, Fort Portal!’” said Cathy Twesigye, UBL Brand Manager for Premium Beers.

The glow-themed event also featured incredible performances from new artistes  Wendy and Roger Kent, Neon Dancers “party pipo”, epic DJ mixes from Dj Crim and DJ Bash, a 3D Cinema, silent disco and fun games like Fifa, all of which kept revelers so lost in the fun that many didn’t realize when daylight broke.

The Tusker Lite Neon Rave next storms northern Uganda next month, as it heads to Gulu, another town that really knows how to party. Cathy Twesigye says as UBL they can’t wait to give Gulu party people a taste of the Neone Rave cherry.
