FUBA unveils new partners ahead of NBL Playoffs

The Federation of Uganda Basketball Associations (FUBA) has on Thursday unveiled new partners ahead of the National Basketball League playoffs due to tip off this Friday September 20, 2019, at the MTN Arena in Lugogo.

The two partners unveiled during a press briefing on at UOC offices in Lugogo join Tusker Lite who have a three-year partnership with the Federation.

“As a federation, we thank our partners and sponsors for journeying with us through the regular season and sticking with us for the postseason. Our main sponsor Tusker Lite, UAP-Old Mutual Financial services (New playoffs partner) and NEXT MEDIA Services who is also our new official media partner/sponsor. We appreciate the continued support to grow the basketball brand in the country,” said FUBA in a statement.

This year’s playoffs seem to be the best of the competition in both the men and ladies category and the eight teams that qualified for this stage are daring to go all out when it comes to this postseason.

The men’s category include teams UCU Canons, City Oliers, Warriors BC, JKL Dolphins, Betway Power, KIU Titans, Ndejje Angels and KCCA Lions and the ladies’ category has teams JKL Lady Dolphins, KCCA Leopards, Nkumba Lady Marines, UCU Lady Canons, A1 Challenge, KIU Rangers, Angels BC and UMU Ravens.
