Guinness Uganda went all out on Saturday night as they introduced Uganda to the first-ever Guinness Night football experience that took place at the Forest Mall Parking in Lugogo.

The night saw revellers indulge in their passion for football, creating teams and going all out to win prizes in a range of football activities played out in the dark and enhanced by colourful neon UV and lighting technology to make the experience vibrant, immersive and memorable.

The night included activities like Five-aside football, table Foosball, skills challenges like “Mirundi” and head games but it was the human foosball that drew out the revellers’ competitive sides drawing in the fun throughout the night with eight teams qualifying for the finals that will be held in Kampala on December 7, 2019.

“Guinness Night Football is not your everyday football; we are bringing the party and the fun to the game of football and tonight has been a testament that we are made of more, creating football with a Guinness touch. It has been an amazing night all I can say is look out for our next stop, it is going to be huge,” said Cathy Twesigye Guinness Brand Manager, Uganda Breweries Limited.

The event also featured entertainment from Bebe Cool, who together with the mixes from DJ Ciza threw a riveting performance that got revellers on their feet and on the dance floor. He performed songs like Wirewire, and Nkuliyo that got revellers dancing the night away in the drizzles.

Designed out of conventional football, the series will take revellers and football fans on an action-packed night experience that will be traversing the country in fun football activities that will give players and fans a chance to get involved in an extraordinary experience with the games moving to Fort Portal next month.
