Government Spokesperson, Col. Shaban Bantaliza is under fire on his known personal twitter handle following his weekend comments during the NRM gathering in Kampala.

In a recording, Bantaliza said Bobi Wine is bragging about his ‘kasukaali’ but for them (government) they have ‘fire.’ He further bragged how he always moves with three guns in his car ready to encounter his opponents.

Bantaliza’s twitter handle has since been on ‘fire’ but he has vowed to boldly stand by his comments.

In one of his replies, the bush war officer said anyone trying to take them back to the bush shall be stopped through any possible means.

“Anyone trying to take us back to war shall be stopped by any means,” Bantaliza said.

“If we lose power, it will entirely be our fault, and won’t justify any war! But taking us back? That’s the limit,” he added.

When Bantaliza was pressed harder he said, “The way you think insults are the best way forward, is the reason you need us here, in charge of you, for a bit longer, so that perhaps, you could recover and regain self composure, to civility.”
