Singer Eddy Kenzo must be regretting the time he decided to actively get involved in publically fronting political sentiments. Kenzo said a lot has changed since he sang ‘System Volongoto.

According to the singer, the song birthed mixed feelings against his personality and he is destined to even face deeper battles. Kenzo revealed that his choice to sing ‘Volongoto’ has brought him troubles beyond what he imagined. He said his life has been totally affected.

“I have been restless since I sang ‘System Volongoto,’ it even led to the splitting of my family,” Kenzo said during the weekend press conference at his home on Salaama Road.

The ‘Biwoobe’ singer revealed that many people are accusing him of being a traitor claiming he is no longer vocal about Ugandan politics.

“I hear people telling me how I betrayed Bobi Wine and People Power. But you all know what I have been going through,” Kenzo said.

Kenzo however, stated that although people accuse him of no longer talking about issues that affect them, he said at no one time has he shunned away from talking about issues that affect the majority of Ugandans especially the masses that survive in the ghetto.
