After only just a week on the airwaves, the Engule song continues to make Ugandan pastors scratch their heads interpreting the ideology, theology and political since behind it.

Renowned gay rights defender, Pastor Solomon Male earlier today defended the controversial song arguing that he saw no evil in singing about the challenges affecting the people.

“Engule resonates with the challenges people face. Is he the first one to sing? What sin has he committed? Male asked fellow Pastors Ssempa and Serwada who had earlier accused Bobi Wine, the Kyadondo East MP of having re-doing a church song for political self gratification.

Known for his hot mouth, Pastor Martin Ssempa has shock back at Male in a provocative tweet questioning his education level.

“Male is right on politics of Bobi Wine’s Engule song but he is wrong on the theology though. Not sure his level of education! I disagree with him but respect his tireless effort to defend victims of sodomy,” Ssempa scoffed.
