Kadaga meeting members of the Association of Performing Arts

The Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga has met members of the Association of Performing Arts led by Andrew Benon Kibuuka.

According to Kadaga, while the concerned authorities are drafting the letters, government should organise and fund workshops for entertainers. She also urged government to allocate a budget for artistes as a way of empowering their SACCO.

Kadaga promised to arrange a meeting between the Association of Performing Arts and Parliamentary Committee on Gender, so that their concerns can be addressed.
