Soaring higher! Fashion designer Anita Beryl heads to Kigali for East African Wedding Show

She has, over the years, cemented her place as a leading couturier and bridal wear designer in Uganda. And now the Ugandan-born award-winning designer continues to go international, taking her craft south to Kigali this weekend. Anita Beryl, through her fashion brand ‘Beryl Qouture by Anita Beryl’ will be joining a line-up of other African designers at the East Africa Wedding Show taking place this Friday in Kigali.

The two day event will be taking place this weekend, 8th to 10th February, 2019 at the Kigali Convention Centre. The show will feature fashion showcases from various bridal wear designers, as well as exhibitions by wedding vendors from cross the continent and the world over. Uganda’s Anita Beryl will be showcasing alongside Nigeria’s Mai Atafo, Kenya’s Ogake Mosomi, Rwanda’s Germaine Mwananawe and Kay Weddings.

“This is one of those invitations I am very happy to honor, mostly because for a long time, 20% of my brides have come all the way from Rwanda to get their wedding dresses from Beryl Qouture. So it is such an honour and a pleasure for me to be able to bring my services even closer to them I truly look forward to being a part of the show,” Anita explains.
