Veteran musician Jose Chameleone has spoken out about claims made by his younger fellow singer King Saha to the effect that the latter wrote for Chameleone his hit songs Valu Valu and Badilisha.

The veteran has told King Saha and Calvo, in a message that is both scathing and exalting, ‘not to run mad’with such claims, asserting that as a gifted musician he has always written most of his music. However he has also spared some lines to express his acknowledgement of Saha’s exceptional talent, reminding him he has great songs of his own to claim, and telling him to preserve the respect the two have always had for each other so that they cn remain a good example in the industry.

King Saha claimed on national broadcaster UBC yesterday morning, in an interview with presenter Calvin the Entertainer, that he wrote for Chameleone the songs Valu Valu and Badilisha, which are two of the veteran’s biggest hits of the last few years.
