Following the vow of State Minister for Youth and Children’s Affairs Nakiwala Kiyingi to stop him from singing professionally due to his tender age, fast-mouthed 7-year-old rapper Fresh Kid (Patrick Senyonjo) has asked the public to stand with him during this trying moment.

According to the 7-year-old rap sensation, people are simply envious of his talent and want him to go back to the village. Accordingly he has gone ahead to start a Facebook hashtag “#freeFreshkid’stalent” while asking the public to join him.

“They want me back in village, who stands with me in the situation am going through?? Share Please if you wish me success. BamuzeeyimukuluBanteeka, Free Fresh Kids Talent.” the young rapper posted on his wall in the immediate aftermath of Minister Nakiwala’s vow.

Minister Nakiwala yesterday swore to stop Fresh Kid from singing because he is underage and the Constitution doesn’t permit children below 18 years to enter and perform in clubs.

Fresh kid currently has a song ‘Banteka’ which he has been performing while bar-hopping late in the night. Social media has also criticized media houses for interviewing the toddler during school days and hours when he is supposed to be in class, and many have questioned whether even the young musician actually goes to school since he is always out late at night.
