Uganda Cranes has received a new 49-seater bus that was last year pledged by President Yoweri Museveni. The luxurious and executive bus was handed over to the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) yesterday by the Minister of Education and Sports First Lady Janet Museveni at the State House Nakasero.

“I hope that the team (Uganda Cranes) will be excited about this bus.  I am excited handing over this bus because it surely shows the Government’s commitment towards the development of sports in this country. I want to thank the Government and specifically the President for the immense support that has been extended to sports,” the First Lady said.

The keys to the bus were handed to the second FUFA vice President Darius Mugoye and Hassan Wasswa, the Uganda Cranes vice-Captain.
