Photos: How Awilo Longomba rocked Arua yesterday evening

After his sold-out Friday evening show that turned into one of the most unforgettable dance-fest concerts ever held at Serena Hotel (perhaps even in the whole of Uganda), yesterday Congolese Lingala (Soukos) star Awilo Longomba too his dish of musical heaven to Arua’s Greenlight Stadium to serve his West Nile fans.

And yet again the Lingala maestro had the audience eat out of his palm in a show they will take long to forget. It was a full-house on the side of numbers, and on the side of enjoyment the crowd danced non-stop from the early evening hours, through Awilo’s one-and-a-half performance that ended a few minutes shy of midnight.
