News coming in indicates that yesterday night, Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine escaped from under the nose of Police who had put him under ‘house arrest’ leaving the confines of his homestead in Magere, Gayaza in Wakiso district. And aparently the legislator’s whereabouts remain unknown.

Yesterday afternoon, Internal Affairs minister Gen. Jeje Odongo told Parliament that Bobi Wine was supposed to report to CID Headquarters in Kibuli today, to answer charges that the minister didn’t specify.

Bobi Wine has been under house arrest since Police dropped him at his pad on Monday afternoon, following his aborted attempt to access his One Love Beach in Busabala which Police had cordoned off in the wake of the cancellation of the MP’s Kyarenga Extra Concert.

On Tuesday the MP attempted to leave his home to go deliver to Police Headquarters in Naguru a letter requesting to hold a peaceful demonstration against what the MP calls ‘infringement on his human rights’, but Police didn’t allow him to leave his home. Yesterday too Bobi Wine wasn’t allowed to leave his home.
