Kwesta, DJ Sun El Musician to headline Johnnie Walker’s The Lock down tonight

South African rap star, Kwesta and DJ maestro Sun El Musician are set to be the headlining act at the Johnnie Walker Highball Lockdown party slated to take place tonight Friday June 7at the MTN Warehouse, Industrial Area.

Born Senzo Mfundo Vilakazi, Kwesta is a South African born rapper and songwriter whose music has been doing rounds on the continent for quite some time. Kwesta will be sharing a stage with some of Uganda’s renowned artists and Dj’s like  Dj Fya Leboof one of Uganda’s promising  female DJ’s who infuses her mixes with tribal, EDM, house music and afro music.

Tonight’s vibes are all centered around the electric “Tribal Rave/Afro house, and House music that is sure to have revelers in the perfect mood for an epic dance showdown.

He will be performing some of his smash hits like “Khethile Khethile” “Ngiyaz’fela” “Spirit,” a collaboration he did with American star Wale, Vur Vai of his 2016 studio Album Dakar and many more. Kwesta will also be performing alongside DJ Sun El Musician, a South African DJ maestro with electronic dance music prowess.

Also on the line up, will be Uganda’s very own DJ Kasbaby, a radio DJ who has been in the game since 2014 will be showing off his skillful mastery of the DJ mixes. He is known to hypnotize crowds and have them break into delightful and exciting dance vibes.

Entrance to the Johnnie Walker Highball event goes for UGX50,000 with gates opening as early as 7:00pm. This one is a must attend for lovers of house and tribal music!
