Renowned Mufti Ismail Bin Musa Menk concluded his four-day visit to Uganda with a convention at Namboole Stadium. The Zimbabwean Mufti is currently on a world tour called Building Bridges.

Mufti Menk is known for his motivational words of peace, love, kindness and praying to God, things that transcend religion, colour, age and race.

Menk with Ugandas Supreme Mufti, Sheikh Ramadhan Mubajje and Internal Affairs Minister, Gen Jeje Odongo.

Menks’s visit kicked off with leading Friday Juma prayers at the Ghadaffi National Mosque where he preached to thousands of Muslims in the congregation. This was followed by a corporate dinner at Hotel Africana on Saturday evening before addressing thousands of Muslims and Non-Muslims at Namboole Stadium.

His speech, just like his tweets, was filled with preaching peace, forgiveness, love, respect and encouraging unity amongst Muslims.

“Look at how you talk to people around you. Look at how you treat people. Look at how you actually address those, whom community and society might consider lower than you. We need to treat each other with respect. The young and old, the rich and poor, the Muslims and Non-Muslims. We are all brothers and sisters,” he said.
