Arguably the hottest song at the first half of 2019, Gutujja – a collaboration of B2C soldiers and songbird Rema Namakula has dominated airwaves and DJ playlists since it was released.

What makes it even more unique is that Rema did not need more than two takes to nail her verses that she only went through the weekend before hitting studio.

According to the B2C, they were left in bewilderment when Rema arrived at the studio while they struggled with their verses. The diva was through with hers in just two takes – as if the song was her own.

“Rema is super talented but we had never seen someone who makes singing so easy like her. She did her lines in just two takes while we sweated with our own lines,” the trio revealed on the KFM’s D’Mighty Breakfast programme.

“We want to thank you Rema for accepting to work with us to produce such an amazing song. The song has been a massive hit and has taken us places,” they added.

Gutujja’s cleaner than whistle video has also helped sell the song even further garnering more than 1.5m views on YouTube since it was uploaded on April 29, 2019.
