Those who think afro-beat singer, Joseph Mayanja aka Jose Chameleone will drop the ‘chameleon’ element in him, we are sorry to inform that the singer he has vowed die with it.

While addressing journalists at the DP headquarters in Kampala this afternoon, Chameleone revealed that he started living like a chameleon at a very tender age and over the years, he learnt how to survive with the personality.

“At the age of 16, I used to escape from home and my mother could always seat me down to offer some advice. She used the chameleon as the example saying it is slow but very sure besides it changes colour in the right atmosphere,” Chameleone said.

The singer said people should learn to respect his decisions because just like the chameleon, he always makes them when there is need.

Chameleone was recently confirmed as a Democratic Party member and named the party chief mobiliser after he declared intentions to contest for the Kampala Mayoral seat come 2021 elections.
