Kato Lubwama: Artistes who have been mediocre in music will also be average in politics

Comedian-turned-politician Hon. Kato Lubwama has advised artistes not to waste time and money in politics because most of them don’t stand a chance of winning any political office in the 2021 elections.

According to the Rubaga South MP Lubwama, unlike them who first attained political experience before coming out to announce intentions of contesting, most artistes who are eyeing the political office seats in government have a misconception that their music fan base will turn into votes.

Lubwama anticipates that artistes who have been mediocre in music will also be average even in politics. He also noted that many of the artistes who are joining politics lack discipline and for that, they can’t be successful in politics.
