This weekend the only plot that is on everyone’s radar is the biggest social event of the year, the Royal Ascot Goat Races.

The event that has been marked as one of Uganda’s most popular social events is on for Saturday, October 12 at the Speke Resort Munyonyo. Fans of the races have already shown anticipation for the goats they will either cheer or bet on.

Despite the fact that the event boasts of a rich tradition as the most exuberant unofficial fashion showcase in Uganda, including social networking, one of the details that make this event very special is the fact that the Ruparelia Foundation also uses the opportunity to undertake charity work.
