Today, Monday, October 21, 2019, the Electoral Commission (EC) has kicked off a nationwide voter verification exercise that aims at correcting the particulars of voters on the National Voters’ Register.

According to EC, exercise is going to run for eight days from today to next week on Monday, October 28, 2019 through which residents of all villages across the country are encouraged to actively participate.

Village members are required to crosscheck their respective register for irregularities like ineligible members who might have moved to a different area for different reasons or died. This will also give members who are not on the register to register with the EC and have their data entered onto the register.
