Denis Onyango’s father passes on, burial set for Thursday

Uganda Cranes and Mamelodi Sundowns shot stopper Denis Onyango has lost his father Mzee Gabriel Onyango. He succumbed to cancer on Tuesday evening.

The vigil happened yesterday at Mzee Gabrie’s home in Ndejje Zanta zone along Entebbe Road.

“FUFA is deeply saddened by the news of father of Uganda Cranes Captain Denis Onyango who succumbed to cancer on Tuesday evening. Our thoughts and prayers are with Denis and family,” FUFA said in a statement.

The burial arrangements of late Mzee Gabriel Onyango are already out. Today, Wednesday at 2pm requiem mass will be held in Ndejje, Zanta zone. And burial is on Thursday, October 24  in  Butangazi-Buduri- Majanje Road 8 miles out of Busia town at 2pm.
