President Museveni has exercised the powers vested in him by the 1995 constitution of Uganda to reshuffle the Cabinet “in pursuance of the goals of the NRM and Ugandans in general.”

Most Ministers have kept their positions whereas a few have been moved to new positions.

The Vice President, Prime Minister and his two deputies are unchanged but Gen. Kahinda Otafiire has been moved from the Justice Ministry to Ministry of East African Affairs.
