The news of Tamale Mirundi’s health condition has rocked the public quite hard and one of the concerned about his situation is Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine.

This evening, Bobi Wine has paid a visit to the bedridden Tamale Mirundi in Kisubi Catholic Hospital and he has said that Tamale Mirundi is in a very serious but stable state of health.

In a post shared on his social media pages, Bobi Wine has blasted the government for abandoning a man that has over the years worked tirelessly for them to now leaving him to pay for his own medical bills without any assistance from government.

“The government he worked so hard for having failed to set up proper public health facilities is not even keen on sending him for specialized treatment at such a critical time,” Bobi wine said.

The presidential hopeful went ahead to attribute government’s inaction towards helping Mirundi to the fact that he (Mirundi) had turned critical of them and disagreeing with them oftentimes and so he is currently out of their favour.

“I challenge the government not to watch on as a senior citizen like Tamale faces a serious health condition. It is fair and expedient that he gets access to specialized medical diagnosis and treatment,” Bobi wine asked of government.

It should be noted that Tamale Mirundi worked as Presidential Press Secretary in the Statehouse for 13 years until 2016 and he is currently a senior Presidential Advisor on Press matters.
