Zzina Awards back to reward outstanding Ugandan talents

Uganda’s urban-youth radio station Galaxy FM 100.2 is back with the 2020 Zzina Awards to recognize outstanding Ugandan talents of the past 12 months.

Today Monday, February 17, 2020 marked the launch of another edition and opening of the nomination process that will be conducted on the station’s social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Nomination is free and open to the public and is set to go on for the next two weeks which will lead into the voting process following the release of the final nominees list.

The main awards show will take place on Friday, March 27, 2020 at the MTN Warehouse in Kampala.

NOTE: There are two special categories that will not be subjected to any voting and these include;

  • Sports Personality of the Year
  • The Zzina Legend Award
