Zzina Awards set to broadcast on Live on Facebook tonight

History is set to be made today as Ugandans gear up for the annual Zzina Awards under the theme: “For the Love of Ugandan Music.”

Due to the current social distancing measures, lockdown, and curfew, the highly anticipated Galaxy FM-organized, MTN Uganda, KAGWIRAWO and MOVIT-sponsored event couldn’t go through as earlier planned so a first-ever online version will go live this Friday June 12, 2020, at exactly 7 pm E.A.T on the Galaxy FM 100.2 Facebook page.

Those to be awarded include; singers, producers, songwriters, comedians plus one outstanding sports personalities and an entertainment industry legend.

The whole experience shall include exciting live performances and lots of goodies courtesy of the sponsors so keep your phone, tab, laptop or whatever gadget you use fully charged for a fun-filled and greatly rewarding Friday night.

This year’s Zzina Awards will be hosted by Evening Rush’s Prim Asiimwe and Mid-morning Tukoone’s Mr Henrie. Entrance will be absolutely free – Just buy data, stock your fridge and have a blast Zzina style.
