Leader of People Power pressure group, Hon Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has said that they will not be listening to Electoral Commission’s ‘illegal directives’ of holding a scientific election. Bobi Wine says they want a free and fair election and not something that looks like an election.

The presidential hopeful says he has been waiting for the campaign time to face off with President Museveni but due to fear of the People Power numbers, Museveni through EC is finding all means to stop physical campaigns.

He believes that Uganda must learn how to live with COVID-19 because it doesn’t seem like it will go away anytime soon. He says elections must be held normally.

“We will meet our people and hold rallies while we ensure that they are wearing masks and are also observing social distancing,” Bobi says.

He adds, “This Government only listens to noise and we know they will come for anybody that speaks out and that is why we call upon all Ugandans to speak out so that this regime can listen.”
