As many defeated aspirants in the NRM primaries resort to challenging the elections, the State Minister for Investment Hon. Evelyne Anite who conceded to defeat says she has chosen to practice peace that her party chairman Museveni taught her and massively mobilise for him.

“Knowing my character I could have chosen violence but even when I know I was robbed of my victory with clear evidence of non -party members voting, non-residents voting, I chose to practice what the party chairman taught me which is peace,” said Anite

Anite also said that because she knows other parties are opportunists and are recruiting she has decided to talk to all the aspirants that were defeated because the party is not donating any member.
