As the country prepares for the forthcoming elections, Kampala Mayor hopeful Jose Chameleone has hinted on some of the things he plans to work on once voted into power.

Following this week’s heavy down pour, Chameleone revealed his plans to fight floods that left many of Kampala city areas, business houses and other roads blocked.

Chameleone questioned the kind of legacy the incumbent city lord mayor Erias Lukwago is going to leave behind.

According to the singer, Lord Mayor Lukwaga has added nothing on the lives of Kampala people and he doesn’t deserve the office again in 2021.

“FLOODS are high on our list, we shall tackle them. Today was only the third day of mild rains and the city is all messy, shopping arcades were all fighting with water, our people in Bwaise, Nalukolongo, Kabaawo have not had sleep others have lost their working capital,” Chameleone lamented.

He also said that from the time the late Kampala Lord Mayor Sebaana built the Nakivubo channel,  Lubigi and Nabisasiro 20 years ago, all the Mayors after him haven’t added anything.

“Just lamenting when people are losing business and life is unacceptable,” said Chameleone
