Renowned ‘Musevenist’ Tamale Mirundi claims that the 2021 presidential race heat will only be between President Yoweri Museveni and National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine.

Speaking during his weekly talk show on Pearl FM, former presidential press secretary and media advisor said Museveni and Bobi Wine are the only credible candidates.

Mirundi however faults the ruling NRM members for promoting Bobi Wine.

“The biggest mistake NRM is doing now is campaigning for Bobi Wine. They are creating all these things to block him but instead they are campaigning for him,” said Tamale.

He stated that NRM has no plans to weaken Bobi Wine because they are only focusing on blackmailing his personality instead of challenging him by telling people what NRM has done for the country.

“You are busy creating stupid cases on Bobi Wine which is not working. Tell me any case the government has ever opened on Bobi Wine and they win it?” Tamale asked.

According to the Electoral Commission, over 30 aspirants have expressed their intentions to contest for the country’s top office. Mugisha Muntu, Norbert Mao, Joseph Mabirizi and Maureen Kyalya are among the popular figures vying for the office.
