President Museveni has tasked me to handle aspirants who have been rejected by NUP — Catherine Kusasira

As the National Unity (NUP) is finding means to reconcile with members who have been denied party flags for the forthcoming general elections, Presidential Advisor and singer Catherine Kusasira has disclosed that President Museveni has directed her to lure all NUP aspirants that were denied tickets into the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party.

Citing Jose Chameleone, Kusasira said she’s ready to engage fellow singer and support his political career. She revealed that her ‘master’ is in position to appoint Chameleone to any office that suits his abilities.

Over the weekend, the NUP vetting committee confirmed that Chameleone was not the best candidate for the party as they handed Latif Ssebaggala the party flag for the Kampala Lord Mayor Race.
