Sheebah nominated in MTV Europe Music Award 2020

Sheebah’s return to classic dancehall sound continues to reap dividends. Earlier today MTV announced, Sheebah in the ‘Best African Act’ nominations for the 2020 MTV EMA (Europe Music Awards). This is the 27th edition of the show, which is set to air globally via MTV on Sunday, November 8th, 2020 in South Africa.

The ‘Ninda’ singer is nominated in Best African act alongside Burna Boy, Rema (Nigeria), ‘Jeruselem’ hitmaker Master KG (South Africa), Kabza De Small and Dj Maphorisa (South Africa) and Gaz Mawete (Democratic Republic of Congo).

The excited Sheebah after receiving the news went on her social media pages and shared the news and requested Ugandans to vote for her.

“I am so happy to announce that I have been nominated for the MTV EMA Awards 2020. This means the world to me. Thank you MTV EMA for Nominating me,” Sheebah posted

The awards will go to the artists who get the most votes and it’s up to the fans to vote for their favourites on the MTV EMA website and through social media.
