Youngest Presidential aspirant John Katumba experienced a setback on his way to the nomination ground after his car suffered a puncture at Spear Motors junction where security agencies had put a road block.

The 24-year-old Katumba decided to leave his car behind and run on foot to the nomination centre as his scheduled time was fast approaching. His seconders were driven by police to the nomination venue.

Sadly the Electoral Commission has rejected his nomination due to failure to pay Shs20 million nomination fee.

Speaking shortly after EC rejected his nomination, Katumba said he came with the required fees in cash as he failed to pay it through the bank.

He explained that the bank required him to have a TIN number to be able to pay the nomination fee.
