The possibility of getting COVID-19 in a bar is less than the possibility of getting COVID in a Church – Bebe Cool urges Gov’t to open bars

As government yesterday announced the reopening of gyms, massage parlours, casinos and gaming centers effective Saturday November 14, singer Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool has urged government to also reopen bars.

Speaking during the NBS Investigation on bars that are secretly operating, Bebe Cool said bars are safer than churches when it comes to the spread of the deadly COVID-19.

He said there’s a lower chance of getting COVID-19 in the bar than in a church because in bars people drink with family while in church followers interact with anyone.

“The possibility of getting COVID-19 in a bar is less than the possibility of getting COVID in a Church,” Bebe Cool said.

“Sanitizers are made from alcohol. In bars people are drinking alcohol. Where does COVID attack someone from?” he added.

However, Ministry of Health and World Health Organisation (WHO) have all released well-researched facts that alcohol doesn’t cure COVID-19 though sanitizers are 70 per cent alcohol.
