Following the arrest of National Unity Platforms (NUP) president Robert Kyagulanyi popularly known as Bobi Wine arrest former FDC President Col Dr Kizza Besigye has come out and joined a number of people in Uganda and across the world calling for  the release of Bobi Wine.

Yesterday Wednesday 18, Bobi Wine was arrested and detained in Nalufenya prison in Jinja over flouting the covid-19 regulations that prohibit the gathering of more than 200 people.

Kyagulanyi’s arrest attracted protests in many areas of the country which left some people dead and others injured. Today the four time presidential candidate Besigye has joined his fellow opposition politicians in the Free Bobi Wine campaign.
