Bobi Wine to appear at Iganga Court amidst heavy security deployment

Today Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamis is expected to appear before the Chief Magistrates ‘s court in Iganga for the mention of his case following his arrest on Wednesday for allegedly violating the Electoral Commission guidelines. Kyagulanyi was arrested and detained at Nalufenya police station in Jinja.

From the time of his arrest Bobi has been denied access to his family, lawyers and doctors.

Bobi Wine’s lawyers are camping at the Iganga court with hopes of their client appearing there today.

“We are here on the basis of information attained by ourselves that our client Kyagulanyi is likely to be taken to court here (Iganga). We have not had a chance to interact with him,” said Benjamin Katana.
