Babirye defends title

Golfer Martha Babirye has officially defended her title coming out Victor in the final round of the ladies Open that took place yesterday.

The outing that that kicked started the 79th edition of the Uganda open golf championship 2020 saw Babirye come out strong with a gross of 71 beating rival fellow lady golfer Peace Kabasweka who hard earlier come out strong in the opening days of the tournament.

 Scoring a gross 81 ,76, 71 in the three days she beat Kabasweka and nakalembe who managed 79,77,82 and 81,78,85 in day one day tow and three respectively.

The eleven day event will be continuing next week with the Amateur open teeing off on Tuesday 1st December which will later be followed by  the proffessional open starting on Thursday 4th December 2020 till Saturday the 6th if December.
