With just a month to the polling date for presidential and parliamentary candidates on January 14 2021, Kumi County parliamentary candidate for the National Unity Platform (NUP), Twalib Osama has pulled out of the 2021 election race.

Osama has quit the party joining the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM). He says that NUP has done nothing in helping to facilitate his campaigns. This leaves five candidates battling it out for the Kumi County parliamentary seat.

Osama claims that he has joined NRM Party to secure his life and entire family.
