Guinness rolls out canned beers on Ugandan Market

As we get into the festive mood, Guinness had introduced a new convenient packaging for beer consumers to enjoy their beer- the canned way.
 
Guinness lovers can now conveniently buy their favourite beer that is packed in cans, without the hustle of carrying empties to shops.
 
With the bars still closed owing to the Covid-19 lockdown, home consumption is on the increase and the Guinness cans have come in handy to solve the empties’ puzzle
 
The beers are currently in the market with special offers for the festive season with a six-pack going for the price of five cans.
 
“Beer lovers will get the best of the Guinness experience during this Christmas season as they kick off the holidays with a special festive offer of the purchasing a six-pack for the price of five cans. It doesn’t get any better than this,” said Phillipa Nantamu, Premium beers brand Manager at UBL says.
 
Guinness Smooth cans retail for Shs5,000 while Guinness FES retails for Shs5,500 a can.
 
Guinness smooth and Foreign Extra Stout join other beers such as Tusker Malt and Tusker Lite that are already sold in cans.
