Celebrities set to play soccer for Charity

Ugandan celebrities have joined forces to fundraise for all the disabled Kids of Home of Hope Jinja suffering with disabilities, autism and Down syndrome. The celebrity unisex soccer match dubbed Play for Hope slated to take place today Sunday January 5 at the KCCA grounds is set to attract all the influential people in the nation.

The line-up of the celebrities set to participate in the cause includes Bebe Cool, Salvado, Ykee Benda, Andrew Kyamagero, Leila Kayondo, DJ Slick Roja and Stuart, Mona faces, Gareth Onyango, DJ Aludah, Hannington Bugingo, Nessim, Alex Muhangi, DJ Shiru ,Hassan Wasswa

“Every single smile you put on these children with special needs is an amzing feeling and life changing moment, today is the day we add on these smiles while we have fun. Can’t wait to unleash my fitness on the pitch,” said renown comedian Salvado

He further said that Home of Hope was founded by mama Edith, a lady who once had a child  with disabilities but unfortunately lost the kid but has dedicated has life to helping children with down syndrome, epilepsy, autism and takes care of over 72 children.

The entry fee is shs 10,000 for ordinary and V.I.P 20,000 .  All the proceeds from the All star celebrity Charity soccer Match will be used to help the children.

“Those who have donations like clothes, meds, pampers, groceries and any support kindly carry them to the KCCA grounds, I will deliver them to the children the next day,” said Vince Musisi one of the event organisers
