Despite being vocal in opposing the current regime, Aruu County North Member of Parliament Hon. Odonga Otto believes that Bobi Wine, the most popular candidate in the opposition who is willing to contest against President Yoweri Museveni in the 2021 general elections is not competent enough to take up the mantle of leading Uganda.

The former Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) member revealed that the countless times he has engaged with Bobi Wine, he was very ignorant about how to tackle national issues.

“I recently had a one on one meeting with Bobi Wine in my office. We talked a series of national issues. He was a complete amateur though the fact remains he is very popular,” Otto said.

“Bobi Wine is not ready to be President and it is a very risky business for anyone to think that Bobi Wine can be President,” he added.

Ahead of the much anticipated 2021 general elections, Otto thinks that the status quo will remain as it is, for Museveni will be declared winner. Nevertheless, he said if Bobi Wine stands, he will put a massive contest just like how Dr Kizza Besigye has done all the years he has stood.
