Incoming minister for Lands, Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Beti Kamya must be proud of a saying ‘If you can’t beat them, join them’ as she has revealed how most of the members in the opposition want to join the Museveni-led government.

Kamya has said that for the time she spent in the opposition, they tried everything to defeat Museveni but she realized that he is undefeatable and decided to work with him for the better of Uganda.

The Uganda Federal Alliance President said her party is in alliance with the ruling government and according to the numerous interactions she has had with other members of the opposition, most of them have more desire to join government that pushing Museveni out of power.

We all know that Kamya is entitled to her opinions and claims but we would like to put some facts to them. The current cabinet of ministers has several former opposition figures that include; Beatrice Anywar, Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi and Betty Amongi. Kamya might be right. Or not.
