Although the main aim of trekking was to help the Bazukulu understand the history of National Resistance Army (NRA) bush war, chief trekker President Yoweri Museveni has confessed how he has had ‘real gym’ during the six days of trekking.

Museveni said exercises have kept him healthy and strong even at his old age. He said most Bazukulu are too lazy to exercise while others falsely think gym is the best and only place to do exercises.

The President further noted that millions of Ugandans don’t know that over eating is a disease. He said 40% of Ugandans dying in hospitals is a result of over eating.

He urged investors to create recreation centres in hilly areas to enable the Bazukulu exercise even when at leisure.

Trekkers are today moving through the areas of Bukatira, Masiriba War Encampment Site, Kagogo, Ndyabweru, Butoloogo hills, Kasambya and will end at Birembo in Kibaale District tomorrow as they would have finished the planned 195km.
