Last year in October, singer Sheebah Karungi unveiled her own sanitary pads company manufacturing ‘Holic pads’ named after her fans group name ‘Sheebaholics’. Three months down the business hustle, the singer has decided to make it even bigger.

Sheebah says in bid to make her pads legal on the market, she has registered her company under “Sheebah Establishments Company.” She reveals that the company will empower women.

“My company will hire 80% of qualified women once our headquarters open up. I want to change lives and show the world that we have qualified women who can do the same things as men but don’t get the opportunities to,” Sheebah says.

The singer also reveals that the company will not only focus on making money, it will also raise awareness amongst girls especially those who cannot afford buying pads. She promises to lay strategies of giving back to the unprivileged girls.

“I wish I could just give back to everyone without asking for a thing in return, but unfortunately a lot has gone into this product forcing me make it a business. I hope to raise enough awareness so we can give back to those who can’t afford pads at all. I just want to change people’s lives just like my fans have changed mine,” she says.
