Despite having similar ambitions like Bobi Wine of becoming President of Uganda, Lt. Gen. Henry Tumukunde is willing to share his vast experience with Bobi Wine and equip him with various leadership qualities.

“If Bobi Wine joined me, I would tutor him into becoming a very good President of Uganda,” said Gen. Tumukunde during an interview with NTV Uganda.

However, according to Tumukunde’s explanations, he (Tumukunde) has to first take up the post of the President so that he can be in position to mentor Bobi Wine. He said Bobi Wine has fresh minds that only lack guidance.

“I can first appoint him Minister for Security so that he gets to know the army. I then appoint him Finance Minister so that he gets to learn about fiscal policies,” he said.

The retired general claimed that his camp will be very accommodative to all individuals especially those with ideas intended to positively transform the country.
